Helium Float Times Balloons that require helium inflation will be inflated 1 hour before the specified collection or delivery time to ensure balloons are in perfect condition for your event.
Please take note of the following helium balloon float times:
- 11″ Latex: Floats in the air for at least 6-8 hours
- 18″ Latex: Floats in the air for at least 12 hours
- 30″ & 36″ Latex: Floats in the air for at least 16 hours
- 18″ – 40″ Foil: Floats in the air for at least 1-2 days
- 24″ Bubble: Floats in the air for at least 3-4 days
Kindly note that the float times listed serve as a general guideline. It is ultimately subject to weather conditions, temperature of the surrounding environment and how the helium-inflated balloons are handled and transported.
We recommend picking up your balloons 1-2 hours prior to your event.
Caring For Your Balloons Heat and sunlight act like kryptonite to balloons. Storing your balloons in a cool place can do wonders for making them last much longer than they would otherwise.
Always ensure your balloons are kept indoors, in a climate-controlled location. In hot weather, keep balloons in an air-conditioned location. Outdoor exposure to sun, wind and rain will reduce float life significantly.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. High humidity can also interfere with the balloon’s float life. As helium molecules heat they start moving and expanding, this movement puts pressure on a latex balloon and can cause it to expand and pop.
Keep your balloons away from direct contact with heating & cooling devices.
Keep your balloons away from light bulbs or sharp objects
Please note that sudden changes in environment (eg. Sudden change in surrounding temperature) can interfere with the balloon’s float life. A consistent temperature ensures that your balloons won’t be shocked and damaged by the fluctuations.
Transporting Your Balloons It is very important to get your balloons home or to your event as soon as possible.
Do not place balloons in a hot vehicle; run the air-conditioner first. Balloons can pop when exposed to hot metal objects such as awnings, the outside of the car or seatbelt parts. We recommend turning on air conditioning to allow for the temperature of the car to come down before placing balloons into the car.
Do not leave balloons in a hot, parked car.
Bags should be used for transport only and balloons should be in the bag for no longer than an hour or so. Extended periods of time in bags can reduce the balloon float time.

Free-Floating Balloons on Ceiling Do remember to assess the ceiling where you intend to release the balloons for free-floating. It is rare to find an actual flat ceiling. Certain materials (such as stucco, sound board, rough ceiling, cedar, sprinkler nozzles halogen lighting, etc.) may cause balloons to pop.
Caring For The Environment We do not encourage balloon releases. When balloons are released into the air they will fall into our environment as litter. Although they are completely biodegradable, they may cause harm to animals and marine life.
Please refrain from releasing foil balloons outdoors as they are constructed of electrically conductive material (foil) which can become entangled in electric lines, causing power outages and damage.
Safety Warning Please do not inhale helium from a balloon. This may cause you to lose consciousness due to insufficient oxygen in your lungs hence causing asphyxiation.
Please dispose of burst, uninflated balloons properly as they can be choking hazard to children.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do your balloons arrive inflated? All balloons that require helium inflation will be handed over to you inflated, unless otherwise specified. For balloons that require normal air inflation, they will be delivered to you flat with a straw for customer’s own inflation.
Do your balloons come with weights? Yes, the balloons come with water balloon weights. Should you require additional or fancy weights, please remember to add them to your order.
Can I change the colour of the balloon ribbon? We will usually use white ribbon or a colour that matches your overall colour scheme / look for aesthetic appeal. Should you need your balloon string to be in a specific colour, please indicate your request in your order comments so that we can look into it.
Do you provide helium inflation for my self-sourced balloons? Yes, if you have balloons purchased from elsewhere, we are able to assist with helium inflation. Kindly add the relevant options available here to your cart. Please drop your balloons off at our store at least 2 working days before the collection or delivery date.
Disclaimer: We are unable to guarantee the quality of your self-sourced balloons. We will not be liable to replace faulty balloons after inflation. Should there be any defects on the balloon during inflation, the customer will still be charged for the helium inflation fee.
The confetti has stopped sticking to the side of my balloons. What can I do? To make the confetti stick to the sides of the balloon, you may create some static within the balloon by rubbing the balloon on hair or clothing. The confetti will naturally be attracted and stick to the sides of the balloon where there is static.
My foil balloon looks a little deflated after some time. What can I do? Have you moved your foil balloons from a warm area to a cold place? Helium contracts in cool air and makes balloons look deflated. Move them back into warm air and they will look full again. If all else fails, you can try supplementing more air into the balloon by inserting a drinking straw into the valve and blowing into it.
Can I reuse my foil balloons after my party? It is possible to re-use most foil balloons. We cannot guarantee that it will work every time as they are fairly delicate – but it is worth a try! Expel the air from your balloon by inserting a long straw into the self sealing valve. The air will then start to come out and you can flatten and fold your balloon for future use.

I have cancelled my party, can I cancel my balloon order? The moment your order is placed, our team begins preparing your unique order. This includes ordering of supplies to ensure stock availability on your fulfilment date.
For this reason, balloon cancellations with more than 3 days of notice (Prior to scheduled pick up or delivery) will result in a 50% refund or 100% store credit to be used toward a future balloon purchase.
